Each member of the group was MC'ing on the underground garage scene. E.V and Super as part of MNW which was a billesley based crew, whilst Five Nine was rollling with a balsall heath based crew. It was the death of Tiny on August 18th 2002 that brought these three individuals together. Super and E.V had always been close friends since the age of 11 as they are from the same part of birmingham, but it was the shared grief for the loss of a friend that brought Five Nine into the picture.

The boys then began making regular garage tapes together at a local youth centre and it was clear to see that a strong connection was beginning to build. Five Nine had always favoured Hip Hop music and in 2004 when E.V. made a few hip hop based beats the boys recorded 2 tracks now known as 'Hold It Down' and 'Alive and Breathing'. Super also made a solo track titled 'This is Me'. After the local response to these 3 tracks the boys decided that this was an excellent avenue by which they could start a business whilst doing something they thoroughly enjoyed.

As the reputation of the 3 boys started to grow, they were no longer recognised as 3 individuals but 1 group. A new identity was needed and after a few days of deliberation Five Nine suggested the name Tiny Presents, to which there was obviously no objection, and as a result you now have one of Birminghams hottest talents, T.P!

Tiny Presents are an inspiration to others as they represent how a tragic moment can be overturned and made into something positive. They believe in taking strength from every situation.
